The 780

Today was a fun day spent learning about the Bernina 780! Sew Original invited a few folks to test out the machines and I was excited to be included. My friend Linda, owner of Linderella’s, came into town for it as well!

The 780 is pretty awesome! I just got MayC, but I’d LOVE for her to have an older sister!!

Here’s sweet Shirley! She’s in front of one of the solid challenge quilts, you still have a few more weeks to vote!

Overall, I learned this machine is pretty amazing and I want it even more now! When you see all it can do, it’s almost like it could fly to the moon!

Anyone else dreaming of a new machine? I know I am…

  1. I’ve already descided my next upgrade will be a machine with embroidery — that’s where money from Kerners Folly is going to save up. I’ve never used a Bernina but you do make this one look great.

  2. Yes. I already have a machine that makes small embroideries–a Baby Lock Sofia. My next machine will be a straight stitch workhorse, like the Baby Lock Jane (Baby Lock is sold at my lqs) or the Brother PQ1500S or something similar. I can’t wait :)
