Animals on Parade

Y’all have seen my animal pattern make a few appearances on the blog here and there. And each time, I promise the pattern is coming! Well, today is the day! The wait is over!!
The quilt was originally designed for Baby O. My friends Olivia and Jim were having their first baby and I wanted to make them the perfect little quilt. And naturally, Baby O had to be the cover model for the pattern:) Isn’t he just the cutest?! Love him!

The pattern is available online through Etsy and Craftsy. And it is already in my local quilt shops- Sew Original, Studio Stitch & The Little General. It will be available in Linderella’s on Saturday (once I deliver:).
I can’t wait to see what everyone makes! Here’s a little eye candy…Michelle already finished! Class was just last Saturday; she’s amazing!!

This is a really fun pattern to make and much faster than it looks! If you make one, please add it to the Made with May Chappell Flickr group!

  1. I love it! I am of course biased : ) this is my first time seeing the cover art and it’s awesome. I forgot what this pic looked like (and what baby O looked like this many months ago!)

  2. May, I love this baby quilt and also wanted to know if you have the resource on the giraffe patterned fabric on the back please?

    • Thank you! That giraffe print is by Laurie Wisbrun and it is perfect for this quilt!! You can still find it on Etsy. It’s called Urban Circus Giraffe and this is the pink/green version. It comes in boy colors too. I found it from this seller: There are quite a few other sellers that have it as well.
