Group Therapy

It’s great to finally be back home and back among my quilty peeps! I had such an amazing trip and met so many great people, but home is where Mack the chihuahua is:)

And I got back just in time for Modern Fabric Group Therapy! MFGT is a group started by the talented Karen Gray. Karen organized the group as a social outlet for like-minded folk with a strong affinity for all things modern fabric. It’s a great group! She also designed a gorgeous block of the month to go with it. We meet the second Wednesday of the month at 12:30 at The Little General. (No July meeting though!)

Today the member spotlight was Amy of Amy by the Park! She makes these cute folders:)

And she brought in a bunch of bags that she’s made! From the weekender to birdie sling and everything in between! So much cuteness!!

  1. That Denyse Schmidt fabric is amazing! Can’t wait to get my hands on some! Glad you are home safe and sound :)

  2. Love all the new fabric! The chickens really make me smile. Do you know how soon we can get some?

  3. You know I only use a needle to sew on an occasional button, but I’m loving seeing the fabrics and all of the wonderful items you have on display here. Makes me want to take up sewing ie. quilting, but, alas, it’s just not my creative bent. I must be content to just admire and appreciate the talent of others like you!

  4. Glad to see that you made it home safe and sound! I am really happy that you had such a good time on your trip, and I really hope that you will plan to join in the fun next year?? Your group looks like a lot of fun!!
