Colorful Animals
For the past couple weeks, I've been teaching two amazing groups at Sew Original!First up is Color Theory! They all selected bright modern prints for their wall hangings!Cheryl chose a print for the middle with a lighter and a darker matching solid for the outer ring.
Lots of adorable featherweights in this bunch!!
Sometimes annoying folds happen to good people!
Kelly's finished pieces! She's using all solids:) She also claims to never have paper pieced before...
Gina's pieces! I can't wait to see the finished product!!
Sue's gorgeous block! Love the Heather Ross seahorse fabric:)
The animal quilt class is such a fun group!! They're all making something unique and adding cute little touches to make the quilt their own.Lynne is using black and white backgrounds with color! She added an owl in honor of Lyla, her granddaughter. I'm going to add the owl to the pattern because it's pretty cute!
And Elna with her quilt! Her little whale has a spout! So fun!!
And here's Vicki with her blocks!
She's super detail oriented! Look at her snail:) I love the fussy cutting!
And Debbie with her blocks! She's also doing black and white background with colorful animals. Her little ellie has an eye:)
And Susan!! Her blanket stitching is amazing! She took right to it:)
I really enjoyed both these classes- with friends old and new!!xo LC
