Nebraska: Day 5!
Wednesday was day two of the retreat! We enjoyed a day of sewing and some more fun classes! I worked on laying out the tumbler.
We were given the special retreat die! It is an absolutely adorable sewing machine!! I love it:) I'm thinking cute quilt label...
Lunch was at the delicious Alotta Brownies. I had quiche that was amazing. And the caramel chocolate extravaganza (my term, not theirs;) was absolutely sinful!!
Then I decided to do a double wedding ring. I had done this with templates before, but it's so much better with the AccuQuilt!! It's still a work in progress:)
I'm using my yummy Collage fabric:)
Time for more delicious food! We went to Andy's on First for dinner...yummy Italian!
After dinner there was show and tell! There were LOTS of amazing quilts!! Bethany made these using a half-square triangle die. They're gorgeous! I definitely see a Bethany quilt in my future!!
Then...the biggest surprise of the week!! COUNTRY TRADITIONS GAVE EACH OF US A GO! BABY!!!!! What?!?! I'm so excited!!! Look at Debbie getting hers! I had more of a stunned silent look on my face:)
They also made us these pinnies!! I semi-collect pincushions!
Here's the awesome staff of Country Traditions with a few folks from AccuQuilt! They've all done an amazing job!! But special kudos to Stacie for all her hard work:)
The fun continues tomorrow...xo LC
