New Website

Welcome friends to the new May Chappell site! If you’ve visited in the last few weeks, you might have noticed that things were getting a bit hanky. It turns out that my site had been attacked. Is that a thing? I don’t know if I fully understand what went down. It involved malware and my former hosting company telling me it was my problem, but they could fix it for several hundred dollars. This would have been fine had they not “fixed” it just a few weeks prior.

But I digress; the essence is that I’ve been sharing my adventures in quilting and teaching on a blog for over ten years with no major issues. When that blog need things such as an about page and a shop, I figured it out. I cobbled it together. I acted like I knew what I was doing. So this was a long time coming. I am pretty thrilled with how everything has come together on the new site! And the difference in the experience is night and day!

Plus you’re about to get some random posts that just never were posted. I wrote them. I filled them with eye candy. And when I migrated to the new site, I found them. So get ready for a series called, it’s not timely, but it is pretty and informative and interesting and still relevent!* * working title

Flying geese quilt on a bed outside in the mountains of NC

I also found so many awesome images that I haven’t shared! Flying geese on a bed on a mountaintop anyone? I can’t wait to share it all with you! For now, please enjoy the new site and please let me know if there was something from the old site that hasn’t appeared here yet!
